Advancing Indigenous Management - Energy Sector Program (AIM-ES) was designed and developed in 2021, in partnership with the Indian Resource Council (IRC), National Consortium for Indigenous Economic Development (NCIED), and Gustavson School of Business(GSB) at the University of Victoria.
The Advancing Indigenous Management - Energy Sector Program (AIM-ES) is an opportunity for individuals to refresh and revitalize their practices as a key employee of an oil and gas organization in BC or AB. Participants will come away with important tools to enhance their organization’s impact in their community. Individuals will professionalize their approach to Indigenous management and economic development while gaining the skills they need to serve their communities with confidence. The program includes 8 modules and will be delivered over the duration of four months beginning this December,2021. The University of Victoria will be delivering these courses to participants through a blended in person and online delivery model.
